Conveyor roller bearings are designed to accommodate loads where high levels of exposure to contamination are present. They are economical and are used in conveyor systems.
Single shield refers to a shield on one side of the bearing. The shield is located on the outer race does not make contact with the inner race. Ideal for very high speeds, but does not prevent smaller contaminants from entering the bearing. They are more economical than seals.
Radial ball bearings without a flange have a cylindrical outer diameter for mounting in straight bored housings.
Hex bore bearings are designed for engagement with a hexagon shaft.
